Class Descriptions- Ongoing Classes
Most of our classes require no previous experience. If a class does, this will be noted in the class description below.
Sultry Classes
Available to ladies only, 18 and up.
Burlesque Basics- Learn the art of the tease, with history and performance information included. Bumps and Grinds, milkshakes and shimmy's with a twist! Famous Burlesque dancers of the past and present are examined each week and you will learn their style. Performers that we have already studied include: Josephine Baker, Lily St. Cyr, Bettie Page, and Gypsy Rose Lee!
BurleXercise- A sexy new work-out, designed to shape and trim your body.
Using a chair as your tool, this one is more of a moderately fast-paced cardio class.
Candle Light Sensual Dance- Exotic in style, slow and controlled movement, including floorwork, poses and transitional moves with the pole as your prop. This includes a relaxing cool down. High heels are optional. No pole spins or tricks will be taught in this class. Core strength, flexibility, balance, and fluidity are all improved.
Pole Dancing- Includes the elements of our pole fitness class, with weight bearing techniques as well as walks, more spins, and inversions. Each level will include stretching and flexibility techniques to warm up the muscles and prepare for polework. In the upper levels, you will learn climbing techniques and advanced pole tricks. You will need your instructor's permission and will need to show the instructor that you are proficient in these areas below in order to advance to the next level.
Level 1- Pole Kitten- Learn between 4 and 6 spins and be able to perform them on the right and left side. These spins include forward and backward, knee hooks, and ankle hooks. Also, become proficient at sexy walks, simple dance moves, and body rolls. You will learn to hold your weight lifted on the pole, positioned at the bottom of the pole.
Level 2- Pole Fox- Learn combinations of the spins you already know. You will learn how to climb mid-way up the pole, and wrap your legs and hold yourself up, as well as using several techniques to gracefully get back down to the floor. Also, you will learn 4-6 new spins and master them on atleast one side, right or left.
Level 3- Pole Minx- You will be able to climb all the way up the pole to the top, and will be able to use three ways to get back down, either by cloud walking down, spinning down, or sitting with your legs gripping the pole, and then using your hands to turn your body down the pole to the floor. You will also learn two different ways to get your body upside down, or inverted on the pole. You will learn two to three ways to get back down to the ground once you are upside down.
Level 4- Pole Siren- You will learn what to do with your body once you are upside down on the pole, and where to put your arms and legs in order to make beautiful poses and holds. Also, learn how to hang in the inverted position, without holding on with your arms, and then reach the floor and slide down. You will practice how to do an inverted suspension, holding on to the pole with one leg. Learn new ways to get back down to the floor, once inverted, including placing your legs down behind you to stand straight up.
Level 5- Pole Seductress- We have a gymnast instructor, with 14 years of training to teach this level. She will show you how to gain momentum with jumping onto the pole and using your core and legs to spin, while quickly climbing at the same time. She will show you how to become inverted on the pole, while you are at the top of the pole. You will accomplish some of the same inversions and holds that you already know, as well as suspending and posing while at the top of the pole, which by the way is studio height of ten feet tall, two feet more than most home and personal bought poles.
Level 6- Pole Enchantress- Learn to be more proficient in the moves that you already know. You will be working on combinations to use in order to quickly and gracefully spin and climb to the top of the pole, and dramatically drop back down. You are perfecting your skills at pole dancing and learning even more by studying what others are doing in the field.
Level 7- Pole Goddess- The Competitition Level class, where the studio instructors work with you to choreograph your performance/competition dance. During class, you will work individually on perfecting your dance. The studio plans to attend future pole competitions across the country and maybe even around the world. Pole Fitness- All levels welcome. This class works with the pole to use weight resistance and includes body conditioning. We also work on stretches and flexibility. It is perfect for those who just want a fitness class, with little to no dancing.
Spinning Pole- Several of our poles have the option to be in static or
spinning mode. This is the only class we offer, where we set the poles
to spinning mode for the entire class. Safety and speed techniques are
covered first and spins and tricks are then shown.
Chair Dance & Strip Teaze - A low impact cardio work-out. The chair is used as both an exercise tool and a prop for sultry moves. You may bring a button up shirt, or layers to wear over your exercise clothes. We have some to supply the class also.
The Stiletto Vamp- Our high heels workout class! Bring your heels and the class covers warming up, learning to walk in heels with ease, and shimmying your hips, thighs, and glutes into firm shape. This class is packed with easy to follow sultry moves.

Level 2 & Up
The origin of the "vamp" begins with Theta Bara, an American silent film actress in the 1920s. One of cinema's earliest sex symbols, her femme fatale roles earned her the nickname "the vamp" short for vampire. The term soon became a popular slang for a sexually predatory woman.
Dance & Fitness
Available to Guys and Gals, 16 and up.
Cardio Kickboxing Kweens- A blend of boxing, martial arts, and aerobics to create a great energy boosted work-out.
Hoop Fit Hottie- A new fitness craze, using a custom weighted hula hoop and simple dance moves to work your entire body. Hoop Dance trims your wasitline, firms your thights, glutes, and hips. The core is worked out just by keeping the hoop up! Hoops are provided.
Pilates Teaze- Our pilates mat class, Over time, you will enjoy a transformation from the inside out. We work on core exercises, lengthening and stretching, as well as some strength training.
Risque Ballet- Using a ballet barre and the dance pole to give a ballet based fitness work-out. Also known as Cardio Barre.
Rock 'N' Roll Jazz- An intermediate to advanced level jazz dance class.
Tribal & Cabaret Sensual Bellydance- Bellydance basics and learning two of the styles or genres of bellydance. Teaches the range of motion, including proper body alignment, history, and a basic knowledge of bellydance technique.
Tropical Cardio- Fusing Samba and Cuban dance to create a Rio Style Brazilian Carnival theme. Cumbia, Merengue, Salsa, and Bachata dance may be included as well.
Video VixSin- Sexy hip hop dance moves and correlating music from top music videos. All levels welcome.
Vintage Ballet- Intermediate to advanced level dance class.
Zumba- Combines body sculpting movements with easy-to-follow Latin dance steps. Zumba encompasses dance styles from all over the world. Some Zumba includes hip hop and even belly dance. Sharis's Zumba focuses mainly on Salsa, Merengue, Mambo, Cumbia, Samba, and Bhangra.
Roller Skating Classes
You must have your own skates to participate. Quads are preferred over inlines. Be sure your wheels are cleaned and the skates are used indoors only.
Anyone 16 and up is welcome.
Jamskating- Jamskating is much like line dancing, where a group of skaters do moves, tricks, and spins in unison. We will teach you how to execute the tricks and spins from a beginning level.
Roller Dancing- You learn aspects of artistic skating, including dance, freestyle, and showskating.
Roller Disco- Learn to roller boogie like a real Rollergirl or disco king from the 70's!
