Teaze Studio was dreamed up after doing research on burlesque and pole dancing. An eight hour car drive in May 2008 was consumed with exciting ideas and plans for our new studio. There was nothing like this in Oklahoma and we were ecstatic to bring it here. Since its opening, Teaze has hosted Rocky Horror Picture Show, won the Hotter Than Hades Award at the Ghouls Gone Wild Parade 2009, has been featured on Fox 25 news twice and the Oklahoma Gazette several times. Teaze has hosted pole dance workshops, in order to grow in our industry and become the most knowledgeable that we can be. In early 2010, we enjoyed having Cieara Meyer of California's Be Spun Fitness. In August 2010, Teaze hosted a workshop and did a B.A.C.A. radio show on 96.9 BOB FM with Pantera Blacksmith, the 2009 Best Pole Tricks winner at the World Pole Dance Competition in Jamaica.
You can expect to come to a class where most of the students are beginners, just like you. You can make new friends with other bright, supportive, and positive people. We offer an all-adult environment, where there is no pressure. Making you feel comfortable and wanted is our top priority.
Not a dancer? That's okay!
Several of our classes are fitness only, no dance required.
We are here to cater to all women, who may dread going to the gym and watching the clock while they use machines. We are here for those who are bored with every day aerobics classes. You will have so much fun, you won't even realize that you are working out!
We are here for dancers who have limited options for taking class in Oklahoma City. There are very few dance studios that even offer classes for adults over 18. More rare is finding a class that is truly only for adults and not mainly teenagers. We believe that there are many adults who took dance as children, or who would like to begin dance now. We are here to provide a non-competitive, fun atmosphere for you!!
